The Listening Lab
Welcome to the Listening Lab of the Communication Sciences Research Center (CSRC)!
Since 2012, CSRC has been the leading research hub in southern Ohio for research into hearing, reading, speech and language. We currently have six faculty and more than 20 graduate level associates, fellows, clinical staff, research coordinators, graduate students and support personnel. Our members come from various departments across Cincinnati Children's and the University of Cincinnati. We are united by a desire to understand the mechanisms of human communication at both a basic science and at applied and clinical levels.
Research in the Listening Lab is directed towards hearing, but as our research has developed we understand more how inter-related hearing is with other branches of communication and neuroscience. This diversity of our subject is reflected in both the diversity of our projects and the diversity of the people who work here. We hope that you find what you are looking for in our website.
