When 2-year-old Logan Wiesman was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease (PKD), in a remarkable act of generosity, a family friend donated one of her kidneys to Logan. Now Logan has a future to dream about.
You could say Jack Lennon is doubly blessed. When he needed a kidney at age 7, his dad donated one. When he needed a new one in 1995, his mom was the donor. Today, he and his parents are healthy and grateful for the care they received at Cincinnati Children's.
Claire Monti experienced the pain of a kidney stone firsthand. Following successful stone surgery, she now embraces better eating and drinking habits, and encourages others her age to do the same.
