About

Biography

As a pediatric anesthesiologist, I care for neonates, infants and children undergoing surgery at Cincinnati Children’s. In addition to general pediatric cases, I work with teams caring for women undergoing fetal surgery and children receiving a liver transplant.

In my role as an attending anesthesiologist on the acute pain service, I oversee a team caring for children with pain after surgery. This work includes neuraxial techniques, regional anesthesia, management of IV and oral pain medications, and daily interactions with the care team and patients.

My academic focus centers on the education and training of core pediatric anesthesiology fellows. As program director, I help lead the daily operations of our training program. I work with my team to provide a high-quality learning environment that is responsive to our learners’ needs, our patients and changes in our science. I find this work extremely rewarding.

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and spend hours walking throughout Cincinnati and the surrounding communities. You will also run into me at many of the wonderful arts events available here in the city.
