I am an assistant professor of pediatrics and a member of the Solid Tumor Team within the Division of Oncology.
I earned my medical degree from Loyola University Chicago in Maywood, Illinois, and completed my pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s. I then went on to complete my fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Cincinnati Children’s as well.
During my fellowship, my research focused on human epithelial tissues and gene–environment interactions, including identifying specific targets of high-risk HPV oncogenes and carcinogenesis. I also completed a multidisciplinary project to develop a community practice tool to support recommendations for recognizing and managing iron deficiency anemia.
