I am a nurse practitioner specializing in solid tumor oncology. My care approach is family-centered, as every patient and family’s needs differ. It is important to me to provide care tailored to those specific needs. Many times, treatment is confusing and scary. My priority is to make sure families understand our plans of care.

My interest in this work stems from my desire to care for people. Most of my career has been spent working with oncology patients. I am constantly amazed at how resilient patients and their families are. I learn something daily with the strength children and young adults exhibit while receiving care.

I was honored to be named the Medical University of South Carolina Provider of the Quarter (2022).

When I’m not at work, I love to do Peloton workouts, read, and spend time with my husband, daughter and dog.
