About

Biography

I am a nurse practitioner within the Division of Infectious Diseases at Cincinnati Children’s, with a primary focus on vaccine research. I have been a part of the Vaccine Research Center for over eight years. Since 2022, when I became a certified family nurse practitioner, I have served as a sub-investigator and lead coordinator on numerous vaccine studies, including first ever in human studies, and human challenge models.

I am a member of the International Association of Clinical Research Nurses (IACRN) and was a co-author on an article about PIV5 vectored RSV vaccines in the Science Advances Journal. I first became interested in research after working with patients challenged with Shigella infection. I found it thought-provoking how vaccines were developed using various vectors and scientific formulations.
