Michelle C. Michels, MPT, ATP

I am a physical therapist and assistive technology professional (ATP) specializing in inpatient rehabilitation. I love getting to know patients and their families as we work to accomplish their goals and to get them home and back to doing things they love.

My interest in working at Cincinnati Children’s influenced my choice of careers. I always hoped to work here, especially because they do so much good for our community. I love what I do every day.

I was honored to receive the Golden Heart Award, which honors one of our incredible rehab doctors who loved what he did and everyone around him. This award has significant meaning for me, especially because my peers nominated me.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy being outside and staying active. I like running, shopping and being with my family and friends, who mean the world to me.
