I'm a certified nurse practitioner, and my clinical specialty is neurosurgery. I want my patients to feel safe, trust me, and know my job is to provide them with the best evidence-based care.

Becoming an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) has been a goal of mine since high school when I applied to nursing school. I knew from the beginning that I would continue to advance my degree. I was drawn to pediatrics because I have two children, a 4-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. Children are so special. They are resilient and playful and can make you laugh even on their worst days. Initially, I worked in adult neurosurgery (2015-2023); consequently, neurosurgery holds a special place in my heart.

Every patient is different and requires a specialized approach to care. It is important to establish and acknowledge their personal needs and goals. While caring for the pediatric population, providing patient and family-centered care is essential. I treat every patient and family with respect and compassion.

When I'm not working, I enjoy boating and spending time together at our family's "river camp" on the Ohio River.
