What’s most inspiring about taking care of kids is seeing them change into the adults that they become, as well as seeing them go through times of adversity and come out stronger and better able to handle the lives ahead of them.

About

Biography

I practice general pediatrics and love taking care of children with complex medical needs. Working in pediatrics was my lifelong dream. I became a pediatrician because I wanted to take care of kids and their families and help them through life. One of the best parts of being a pediatrician is watching children grow into healthy adults.

The approach that I use when working with parents is very collaborative. I really love it when families come in and talk to me about their concerns, what they’re worried about and how I can help them.

I love caring for kids for so many reasons. The first one is seeing how children grow through time. Watching a baby become a five-year-old is a really fantastic experience. I also love watching parents gain confidence over time, remembering they didn’t know how to change a diaper just a few years before. I also love taking care of kids because they’re so adaptable. They can roll with the punches and make even challenging situations better.

When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my husband and three kids.
