I am a clinical fellow specializing in emergency medicine. I embrace shared decision-making and listen to families’ concerns so I can address them directly. I value clear communication, and I know that discussing situations in ways that families understand leads to better medical decisions.
My parents inspired me to become a doctor. I’ve always been fond of teaching and caring for the pediatric population, and I admire children’s resiliency. I place a strong emphasis on teaching parents and children about their condition and treatment options.
I am also a researcher. I aim to understand how to improve the resuscitation of very ill children and those that experience cardiac arrest. I hope to use what I learn to educate others and to help improve the delivery of life-saving care in the community.
When I’m not working, I love to play golf and tennis.
