I’m a primary care pediatrician working in a community setting. Our practice includes an in-house therapist and lactation consultants. We also offer care during evening and weekend hours. We use a medical team approach to caring for our patients and working with parents to raise healthy kids in our community. It does take a village!
I became interested in medicine as my mother was a great role model, both as a working mother and a successful female physician. She was a gynecologist and obstetrician in solo private practice. Her patients absolutely adored her because of her genuine care and compassion. I loved seeing how much her patients truly appreciated her. Many of the babies she delivered later became her patients as young adults. Taking care of generations of patients is a unique and special experience, and working in pediatrics allows me to do that.
I enjoy many hobbies, including traveling with my husband, three kids and two fur babies. My favorite destinations are the beach and national parks. I also enjoy attending various sporting events, from my children’s school sports (including dance) to professional-level competitions.
