Apply for the Practicum

We eagerly await the opportunity to train highly motivated and qualified students and invite you to apply.

Summer Practicum: We accept practicum applications from students from any state or location for the summer ONLY.

Applications for the Summer Practicum are due by February 1st and may be submitted no earlier than January 1st to be considered.

Spring & Fall Practicum: We accept practicum applications from LOCAL STUDENTS ONLY for the spring and fall semesters. Students who are located within a 50 mile radius of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (approximately one hour drive) are encouraged to apply. If you have questions regarding this restriction, you may reach out at CLICeducation@cchmc.org to discuss details. **Please see the Child Life Practicum page for details on schedule requirements prior to applying.

Applications for the Spring & Fall Practicum are due by October 1st and June 1st respectively. Applications may be submitted no earlier than one month prior to the due date to be considered.

Applicants selected for further review will be contacted via email to set up a video interview.

Candidates not invited to proceed with the selection process will be notified by one month after the application due date.
