Sincerely Yours

As a child I survived a rare and deadly form of leukemia. And when my family moved into town, my parents were grateful that Cincinnati Children’s was here for my follow-up care. Their experts understood my unique medical needs and the impact and toll that my cancer treatments had on my body.

But cancer wasn’t quite through with me. Years later, we found a tumor on my brain stem. And again, Cincinnati Children’s was there for me and my family. Even now, their Cancer Survivorship Center continues to monitor my distinct medical needs to keep me thriving.

Because of their expert and compassionate care, I’ve lived a full, happy life. I’m married, and my wife and I have been blessed with our daughter, A’Layah. She’s the light of our life. And when we discovered that she had a growth and development issue, we knew exactly where to turn.

The experts at Cincinnati Children’s care for her just like I knew they would — like the unique little girl she is. They know what lights her up and how to calm her fears. They’ve helped make sure she’s healthy and reaching her full potential just like me.

Our family owes so much to Cincinnati Children’s. We may not always know what the future holds for us, but we do know exactly where to turn for the unexpected.
