Bone Marrow Transplantation and Immune Deficiency Research

The Division of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Immune Deficiency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center strives to improve transplant therapies to treat cancer, rare genetic conditions such as immune deficiency disorders and bone marrow failure syndromes such as Fanconi anemia. Through our basic science and translational research, we work to develop new approaches and better therapeutic strategies for these diseases.

Our team has developed disease-specific transplant regimens that have improved outcomes and are now setting the international standard of care. The division is led by Stella Davies, MBBS, PhD, MRCP, an internationally renowned expert in bone marrow transplantation.

The Division of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Immune Deficiency is part of the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute. The institute also includes the Divisions of Experimental Hematology and Cancer Biology, Hematology and Oncology.
