WE4H’s Health Champions are community members trained to hold brief outreach conversations with individuals or longer group discussions about vaccines. Health Champions complete a 2-hour training that helps them learn how to discuss vaccinations in a non-judgmental way with their families and neighbors in the home, school, clinic, or organized community health event. Importantly, the outreach program leverages the “Voices for Vaccines” and “Victory for Vaccine” graphic style stories as well as 10 one-panel FAQs. Post-program logs and surveys serve as evaluation tools for the program. The primary partners for this program have been the Cincinnati Health Department and the First Ladies for Health.
