The Yoshida Lab is interested in understanding cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neural circuit formation in motor systems.

Our projects focus on sensory-motor circuitry and corticospinal circuitry by using many techniques including molecular biology, mouse genetics, electrophysiology, behavior analysis, and trans-synaptic pseudorabies virus.

Our lab is also actively involved in the Neuromuscular Development Group. Our collaborations aim to accelerate research in the development and diseases of the neuromuscular system.
