Health Services Research Collaborative
The Health Services Research (HSR) Collaborative at Cincinnati Children’s is a multidisciplinary, interdivisional initiative. Members strive to develop a creative, integrated institutional portfolio of health services research, patient -centered outcomes (PCOR) and quality Improvement research that brings researchers, patients and clinicians together to create knowledge and innovations and translates that knowledge into practice and policy to improve care and outcomes for children, families and communities.
Peter Margolis, MD, PhD, leads the HSRC work and collaborates closely with the HSRC Steering Committee members from Biostatistics & Epidemiology, Biomedical Informatics, CCTST, Data, General Pediatrics, Hospital Medicine, Patients Services, Regulatory/IRB.
The committee meets monthly to strategically develop, implement and support initiatives that will foster a community of health services research at Cincinnati Children’s and beyond. Steering committee members include representatives from a diverse assortment of divisions, including Adolescent Medicine, Behavioral Medicine & Clinical Psychology, Gastroenterology, Office of Research Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, Patient Services, Pulmonary Medicine, Biomedical Informatics and Emergency Medicine.
The HSR Collaborative supports a number of ongoing educational and developmental opportunities for professionals interested in gaining additional expertise in the broad field of health services research.
