Devarajan Lab Research
Our research focuses on three areas:
- Investigating the mechanisms, biomarkers, and novel therapies for acute kidney injury (AKI)
- Studying the pathogenesis and biomarkers for progression to chronic kidney disease (CKD)
- Identifying lupus nephritis molecular pathways and biomarkers
For each of these conditions, we employ an integrated approach of genomic and proteomic research using animal and human models. We then work to translate, validate, and commercialize our findings.
