Pediatric Rheumatology Collaborative Study Group

The Pediatric Rheumatology Collaborative Study Group (PRCSG), founded in 1973, is a consortium of over 200 members at more than 90 sites in the United States and Canada whose focus is to conduct high-quality clinical trials of therapeutic agents in children with rheumatic diseases. Activities also include the development of relevant clinical trial response and outcome measure to evaluate the safety and efficacy of medical interventions. The PRCSG is governed by an Advisory Council and led by Hermine Brunner, MD, MSc, who has been the scientific director since 2006.

The coordinating center for the PRCSG is located in the Clinical Trials unit of the Division of Rheumatology at Cincinnati Children’s.
