Pediatric Rheumatology Collaborative Study Group

The Pediatric Rheumatology Collaborative Study Group (PRCSG), founded in 1973, is a consortium of more than 170 members at more than 80 sites in the United States and Canada whose chief aim is to conduct high-quality clinical trials of therapeutic agents in children with rheumatic diseases.

Hermine Brunner, MD, MSc, has been the scientific director since 2006 and the chair since 1991. Daniel Lovell, MD, MPH, currently serves as the immediate past chairman.

The coordinating center for the PRCSG is located in the Clinical Trials unit, which is part of the Division of Rheumatology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
