As the vice president of finance and business operations at the Heart Institute, I oversee and lead all administrative, operational and business functions. My responsibilities include human resources, patient access, billing and satisfaction, the pre- and post-research grant award process, clinical program assessment and development, operating and capital budgeting, and quality improvement as it pertains to the institute's business and financial operations.

At the age of 30, I shifted beyond a decade-long career in broadcast television as an on-air meteorologist to focus on research, education and advocacy for heart health. My interest in this field surfaced after the sudden passing of my dad at the age of 59. 

I am honored to have received various awards, including:

• American Heart Association Woman of Impact Winner (2022)
• Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training Academic-Community Research Partnership Award (April 2022)
• Venue Magazine Great Leaders under 40 Award Recipient Class of 2016 (December 2016)
• Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Cincinnati - Cincinnati's Finest Young Professionals, Class of 2011 

When I’m not working, I enjoy wine tasting, local restaurants, gardening and home remodeling.
