Innovative Care for Complex Needs
Our team provides advanced rehabilitation services for children with complex conditions. These include cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries, spinal cord dysfunction, and neuromuscular diseases.
Our care includes spasticity management, electrodiagnostic testing and adaptive equipment evaluations. We also offer specialized programs, including the Infant Motor Evaluation Clinic and Two-Day Mobility Surgical Evaluation.
The Infant Motor Evaluation Clinic helps identify early motor concerns and guide next steps. A pediatric neurologist, rehabilitation physician and physical therapist work together during the evaluation.
Team-Based Care for Every Child
Our pediatric physiatrists lead teams that work together around your child’s needs. Depending on the condition, your team may include therapists, psychologists, nurses, social workers and other specialists.
We work closely with Neurology, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Trauma Surgery and other Cincinnati Children’s teams. This team-based care helps connect medical, therapy and supportive services around one plan.
