Telehealth Visits with Sports Medicine Experts
Sports Medicine offers Telehealth visits, for both new and follow-up visits. To inquire or schedule an appointment, call 513-803-4878.
As part of the visit, you will have a team of physicians, athletic trainers, and nurses interacting together in your care. Via Telehealth, we can see all acute and chronic conditions and can quickly direct you to in-person care, if needed.
About Your Video Visit
You can join a video visit from your smart device or computer. The day before your visit you will get a text message and an email reminding you of your video visit. Thirty minutes before your visit you will receive a text and an email with instructions to prepare for your visit.
During Your Visit
Go to a quiet room in your home with your child, connect to Wi-Fi, and open the text or email from Cincinnati Children’s. Click on the link to connect. If prompted, allow the app to access the microphone and camera on your device. You will be placed in a waiting room until your provider is ready. When your provider is ready, the waiting room will ring. If you leave the waiting room, you will receive a text with a link letting you know your provider is ready.
