The Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic is the world’s longest continuously operating multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to patients with TSC. Our experts care for children and adults with TSC and related mTOR pathway disorders, including Lymphangioleiomatosis (LAM), Smith-Kingsmore syndrome, PIK3CA-related overgrowth syndromes, Gator Complex disorders such as NPRL3, and PTEN tumor hamartoma syndromes (PTHS).

More than 1600 patients come to our clinic each year for advanced care, second opinions and access to innovative treatments. We bring together specialists from many areas to care for the whole child and support families through every stage of life.

Cincinnati Children’s helped lead clinical trials that resulted in the first FDA-approved treatment for TSC. Our experts lead global research studies, educate healthcare teams around the world and help shape future TSC treatments.

Our team also offers specialized care through the TSC TAND Clinic. This clinic focuses on TSC-associated neuropsychiatric disorders (TAND), including behavior, learning, mental health, sleep and developmental concerns.

Personalized Support for Families

Each family works closely with a dedicated clinic coordinator and scheduler throughout the care journey. Our team helps collect medical records, organize testing and coordinate visits with multiple specialists.

Families also have access to in-person and telehealth appointments when appropriate. Many patients come to Cincinnati Children’s for expert second opinions and continue follow-up care closer to home through virtual visits.
