James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence

Cincinnati Children’s has been committed to transformational quality improvement and our journey has changed the culture and focus of our institution dramatically. The James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence was created in 2010 to serve as a catalyst for improving child health and is led by co-directors Peter Margolis, MD, PhD, and Steve Muething, MD. Named in honor of the institution’s former president and CEO, the Anderson Center shares ideas, knowledge and data transparently and collaborates extensively, to accelerate the reach and pace of our improvement as well as that of others. Throughout this site you will find examples of how we are harnessing the power of improvement science to accelerate change and create leaders who will be the catalysts that transform the delivery of healthcare. If you would like additional information about the Anderson Center, or would like to join us on our journey, we invite you to contact us.
