Michelle has practiced in the field of pediatric pulmonary hypertension, alongside Dr. Russel Hirsch, for over a decade. In that time, she has had the honor of serving the Pulmonary Hypertension Association in following capacities: Executive Committee Board Member, Chair of Symposium Committee, Comprehensive Care Review Committee, Mentor, Pediatric Resource Ad Hock Committee and awarded the PHA Periwinkle Pioneer Award for individuals and groups responsible for advancing care for pulmonary hypertension (PH) patients and helping to change the history of this disease. She regularly provides PH education from a local to national level and has served as an expert on Advisory Boards. In her spare time, she had participated in mission trips in South Africa, Ecuador and Honduras.
