About

Biography

My clinical specialties are adult psychiatry, pediatrics and child and adolescent psychiatry. I decided to train in the combined Triple Board Residency Program because I desired a strong foundation in pediatric medicine and psychiatry training. I want to holistically serve children with mental health needs within the primary care and subspecialty areas. I see child and adolescent psychiatry patients in an outpatient psychiatry office in Norwood and general community pediatric patients at the Hopple Neighborhood Clinic. I also see patients via psychiatry e-consult and in-person psychiatry at Hopple, with psychiatric services combined within the primary care setting.

I approach all patient care with the foundation of connection. I believe that if you can connect with a family—whether that be sharing similar values, backgrounds or goals for treating their child with the best care possible—that provides a solid base on which to build the rest of the clinical relationship.

I'm honored to have received the B. Albert Ring Memorial Grant Award, the Robert Larner MD, '42 Student Award and to be a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

I'm a mom to two beautiful boys. We enjoy discovering new parks and playgrounds in and around Cincinnati and visiting Dairy Whip stands and the zoo. I'm also an avid reader of fantasy and sci-fi, and I love to craft, including crocheting and using my Cricut.
