About

Biography

I’m a pediatric cardiologist specializing in congenital heart disease and interventional cardiology. I have a passion for helping patients by being involved in multi-center trials and projects. These trials focus on developing interventional cardiology technology and a better understanding of available therapies to benefit patients around the world.

I was inspired to become a pediatric cardiologist by members of my extended family, who were physicians. As director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Cincinnati Children’s, I have clinical expertise in performing complex diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization instead of open-heart surgery or adjunct to surgical procedures.

When I worked in St. Louis, Missouri, I received the Best Doctor award in 2019 and 2020.

My research is focused on catheter-based intervention to treat congenital heart defects, clinical trials in congenital interventional catheterization, and innovations.

I enjoy spending my free time with my family.
