Patient Estimates and No Surprise Billing

Cincinnati Children’s recognizes the cost of care is an important consideration when seeking treatment for your child. As you prepare for your visit, we can provide an estimate for possible out-of-pocket expenses for certain services.

Patient Estimates

Cincinnati Children’s can provide an estimate for services prior to scheduling an appointment. You can request an estimate by calling 1-877-430-8495 or 1-513-636-4427 and select option 3. Another option is to request an estimate using our new Guest Estimate Feature.

No Surprise Billing

A new law goes into effect nationwide on January 1, 2022, called The No Surprises Act. This Act protects patients from receiving surprise medical bills when seeking emergency services or certain services from out-of-network providers at in-network facilities. The aim is to offer protections to insured people against surprise billing and some protection to the underinsured and uninsured.
