Heritage Video Series now available online

If you want to know why Cincinnati Children’s is a leader in pediatric healthcare, you only have to look at its rich history. We are standing on the shoulders of some pretty impressive giants whose ground-breaking work changed the lives of millions of children not only in Cincinnati but around the world.

Now you can hear from these giants in their own words telling what led them to their careers and how they contributed to Cincinnati Children’s legacy. The Cincinnati Children’s Historical Committee has produced a Heritage Video Series. Videos include interviews with Albert Sabin, MD, in 1979; Lester Martin, MD, in 1988, and Beatrice Lampkin, MD, in 1991. New to the series are a history of Hematology/Oncology and a two-part history of Neonatology, which was completed this year. More are planned.

You’ll also find a timeline of medical breakthroughs that originated at Cincinnati Children’s.

If you are interested in joining the Historical Committee, please send an email to alumni@cchmc.org.
