Collaborations
Dr. Timchenko's lab collaborates with several groups which are located in Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as well as with groups working outside of Cincinnati Children's.
- In collaboration with Dr. Milton Finegold (Texas Children’s Hospital), Dr. Nikolai Timchenko investigates mechanisms of liver cancer using animal models of liver cancer.
- In collaboration with Dr. David Moore (Baylor College of Medicine), Dr. Nikolai Timchenko investigates the role of FXR in protection of liver from development of cancer.
- In collaboration with Dr. Greg Tiao (Division of Pediatric Surgery), Dr. Nikolai Timchenko examines pathways which lead to development of hepatoblastoma in children.
- In collaboration with Dr. James Geller (Division of Oncology), Dr. Nikolai Timchenko investigates mechanisms of hepatoblastoma and HCC.
- In collaboration with Dr. Lubov Timchenko (Division of Neurology), Dr. Nikolai Timchenko investigates the role of RNA binding protein CUGBP1 in liver cancer.
- In collaboration with Drs. David Witte, Anita Gupta and Kevin Bove (Division of Pathology), Dr. Nikolai Timchenko investigates mechanisms of HBL and HCC using a Bio Bank of hepatoblastoma and hepatocellular samples.
