Immunology Graduate Program

The Immunology Graduate Program at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children's Hospital aims to provide unparalleled training for the next generation of forward-thinking and innovative immunologists in the backdrop of one of the country's most picturesque and multicultural cities in the Midwest -- Cincinnati, Ohio.

Preparing the Next Generation of Leaders

There is a growing appreciation for the complex and critical role of the immune system in health and disease. Normal immune functioning is critical to protect us from infectious diseases and to build vaccine-induced immunity. Over- or under-functioning of the immune system can cause a range of health problems (autoimmune disease, metabolic syndromes); there is an urgent need to better understand basic mechanisms of how the immune system contributes to health and disease. Science is a group effort here, and we work together with the University of Cincinnati both in the lab and at the bedside to train the next generation of investigators and physicians.
