Clinicians make decisions on oxygen therapy often by looking at recent numbers only, not trends. 

Potential Impact

Could impact lengths of stay by decreasing length of oxygen therapy. Could also lead to improved clinical outcomes by decreasing harmful oxygen exposure in neonates (high levels can cause retinopathy of prematurity, which leads to blindness).
