Since 1993, Cincinnati Children's Hospital has been an ACS verified level I trauma center.  As one of the largest children’s hospital-based trauma services in the United States, Cincinnati Children's is a leader in pediatric trauma care and research.  From prevention to recovery, our clinical staff treats thousands of pediatric trauma patients annually, many of whom require the highest level of trauma care.  Our extensive experience in management of the injured child enables our team to expertly guide our partnering hospitals on the latest trends and best evidence-based practices regarding pediatric trauma injury prevention, resuscitation and management, ultimately improving the outcome for injured children on a regional and national level.

Customized Training and Consultation

Cincinnati Children’s believes all team members play an important role in delivering trauma services, and encourages involvement of the entire multidisciplinary team during the training and educational components of the program. Our comprehensive training program provides your clinical staff with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-level trauma care for pediatric patients. The PTTC staff will work closely with you as a partnering facility to develop a program that will best suit your needs.
