Pediatric Trauma Transformation Collaborative (PTTC)

At Cincinnati Children’s, part of our mission is to improve access to pediatric trauma care in our region and across the country. In keeping with the spirit of this mission, we developed the Pediatric Trauma Transformation Collaborative (PTTC).

Over the years, our team has worked with other hospitals across the country who want to provide excellent care to the children in their community who suffer traumatic injuries. And we'd like to do the same for your trauma center.

The PTTC is the first program of its kind designed specifically for the needs of hospitals seeking to maintain and / or obtain pediatric trauma verification through the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Through this unique multi-year collaborative relationship, partnering hospitals can leverage Cincinnati Children’s extensive experience and expertise as a Level I ACS verified pediatric trauma center to support their entire trauma program across the full spectrum of pediatric trauma care.

At the PTTC, we provide a full array of educational and collaborative offerings to assist trauma centers seeking to improve their ability to treat pediatric trauma patients. Cincinnati Children’s has a solution to fit your center's needs, including:

  • additional training resources for CME (continuing medical education)
  • simulation and injury prevention, or
  • intensive support of our full collaborative partnership as you prepare for your ACS verification
