I received my BS from Ohio Wesleyan University and MD from Vanderbilt School of Medicine. I completed my pediatric residency and fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Cincinnati Children’s and have remained on faculty since 1996. In addition to my work in the laboratory, I am active seeing patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and oversees the pulmonary function laboratory.
I am a senior research assistant in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. I received my MS in biology from Wright State University in June 2004. My current research projects are focused on airway hyperresponsiveness and airway smooth muscle dysfunction in cystic fibrosis through both mouse and invitro studies. Additionally, I manage both the Kramer and Hardie labs’ mouse colonies. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids, camping, boating and cheering on my boys on the ball field and golf course.
