About

Biography

As a bone marrow transplant physician, I believe patient care is a joint effort. My decisions are made collaboratively with the patient and their family.

I became interested in bone marrow transplantation during my residency because of my experiences with bone marrow transplant patients. Being able to build long-term and durable relationships with patients and their families drew me to this field. I also was attracted to the various medical patients I would be caring for —those with both malignant to non-malignant diseases.

My research focuses on complications following hematopoietic stem cell transplant, such as lung-related injury and thrombotic microangiopathy. I’m also conducting research related to bone marrow failure patients and the difficulties they face.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking and exploring Cincinnati with my family.
