Ranked #1 in the nation for pediatric cancer care by U.S. News & World Report, the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children’s has expanded its clinical depth to better serve referring providers and their patients. Over the past two years, the institute has recruited 20 subspecialists in oncology, hematology, bone marrow transplantation and proton therapy—strengthening subspecialty programs and improving access to advanced treatment options.
These appointments align with national trends toward precision medicine, immunotherapy and minimally invasive radiation techniques. By adding expertise in neurofibromatosis, immune deficiencies and complex hematologic malignancies, Cincinnati Children’s offers streamlined access to multidisciplinary teams and emerging therapies, including cellular treatments and personalized cancer care. This strategic growth ensures that children and families benefit from the most innovative approaches available—while providing colleagues nationwide with trusted partners for complex case management.
