Transgender Health ClinicCincinnati Children’s Division of Endocrinology works closely with the Division of Adolescent Medicine to provide multidisciplinary care for youth who are transgender or gender diverse. The endocrinology team provides gender affirming medical care such as puberty blockers and gender-affirming hormones, monitors bone health, growth, and pubertal development in accordance with current research and clinical care guidelines. The treatment plan for each patient is individualized based on the needs and preferences of the patient and family or guardians.
