The Pancreas Research team covers a wide range of pancreatic disorders such as pancreatitis, pancreatic tumors and cancer, and diabetes. We utilize large patient registries as well as experimental mouse and organoid models to investigate pancreatic disease via imaging, genomics, single-cell transcriptomics, spatial biology, and biochemical studies. We aim to dissect the complex molecular and cellular mechanisms behind pancreatic diseases in children to pave the way for biomarker discovery, innovative therapies, and improved patient outcomes.
