Hematological Malignancy Program

The Hematological Malignancy Program at Cincinnati Children's is focused on these areas of research:

  • Molecular and cellular basis of leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and bone marrow failure (BMF)
  • Signal transduction, transcriptional control, epigenetics, genetic drivers, non-coding RNAs and RNA processing in normal and malignant hematopoiesis
  • Metabolic and genotoxic perturbations during transformation
  • Animal models of myeloid malignancies
  • Drug discovery and development and pre-clinical studies
  • Pediatric phase I new anti-cancer drug studies
