What makes the team experts?

Cincinnati Children’s team of dance specialists is comprised of physical therapists who not only have years of experience treating dancers, but who have also danced at a high-level themselves. Our team is actively involved in dance research and has published in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to adolescent and pre-professional dancers. We have spoken locally and nationally on multiple dance topics along with actively participating in IADMS (International Association of Dance Medicine and Science). It is our team’s passion to educate dancers on how to keep their bodies healthy. When athletes are injured, it is our team’s responsibility to help them safely return to dance through a comprehensive evaluation and treatment process.
